This exciting week will explore natural habitats, food webs, and how diverse organisms adapt to survive. Why do animals choose certain areas to live? Why is it so important to keep our Earth healthy? Through the use of active learning techniques campers will understand why the largest organisms in nature depend on the smallest!
July 27-31: Finding My Way - GPS, Compass & More

We will present a unique "treasure hunt" style of outdoor quest that combines navigational skills through map reading, compasses and GPS. Campers will use skills learned in this class to complete a one-of-a-kind treasure hunt!
August 3-7: Wild about Wildflowers

Texas wildflowers are unique and abundant - even in the city! Campers will design their very own Texas Wildflower ID Guide. Georgia O'Keeffe flower painting techniques will help any camper look closer to what makes Texas Wildflowers so great. Learn more about the native legends of Texas' most famous flowers.
