Wed. November 14
Day of Respite
made available by Camp Joy's Venture Out! Team

In our on-going work with our partner organizations, we have heard loud and clear the need for support to non-profit organizations in dealing with the secondary trauma so often associated with mission-driven work.

Camp Joy's Venture Out! Team is offering a 1-day program designed specifically to help non-profit professionals address secondary trauma through awareness, effective communication, and team-based support techniques.

Our professional facilitators will guide you and your colleagues through an exploration of responses to vicarious trauma, experiences designed to help you ask for the support you need and in turn provide it to your colleagues, and provide a day of respite and mindfulness in a natural setting.

Erika Yingling, Director, Non-Residential Domestic Violence Services at the YWCA Greater Cincinnati, will kick-off the day with a keynote address.

Camp Joy is pleased to make this program available at a significantly reduced cost; your work is critically important and we are committed to supporting you in it.
