Your Camp. Your Voice.

One of my favorite parts of my job is hearing the stories of what Camp Onomia means to different people.

For some, it is a home away from home, a beloved tradition of gathering with family and friends. Others know Camp Onomia as their favorite winter retreat, filled with laughter and countless games of broomball on Lake Shakopee. For still others, it is a place to slow down, connect with creation, and find peace.

Whatever your connection to Camp Onomia, summer camper, retreat guest, former staff member, or volunteer, we are united by a shared truth: Camp Onomia is a part of us, and we are all a part of it.

That is why we are launching a new survey. This is your camp, and your voice matters as we shape its future and ministry. The survey is open now through February 15.

Please consider sharing it with others who love this special place and want to see it continue to grow.

Good for the Soul - Family Camp

By: Maryls Brandell

"I call Camp Onomia my camp home.

My husband and I started going to Family Camp when our children were very young. Since then, in every season of my life - as a mom of teenagers, as an empty-nester, and now as a grandma, it’s been so significant to be part of this intergenerational family camp.

I truly feel a sense of well-being and experience spiritual renewal at Camp Onomia."
