Camp Shabbat Service

Honoring Gimel/3rd Grade

with Special Camp-Themed Oneg

Sponsored by One Happy Camper

Next Friday, Dec. 6

6:30pm

Camp Shabbat is held on the first Friday night of each month. Inspired by the ruach (spirit) of machane (camp), join us to sing, dance, and celebrate the joy of Shabbat!

Each Camp Shabbat service held during the school year will honor students from one of our grades.

The December 6th service will honor our Gimel/3rd Grade students. Students will receive their siddurs (prayer books) and will be called to the bima to lead the congregation in Adamah, and La'asok B'divrei Torah.

We invite ALL Machane TBA students and their families to attend and participate. Everyone is welcome to wear comfortable clothes or your favorite camp shirt!

A fun camp-themed Oneg sponsored by One Happy Camper will follow the service, with s'mores, campfires and games! There will be resources available to answer questions about the grant that they offer for first time campers, as well as printed information for families.

One Happy Camper is a need-blind incentive grant program of Foundation for Jewish Camp (FJC). In partnership with local Jewish organizations across North America, they sponsor the One Happy Camper® grant for their communities and provide help, support, and local perspective so families can find the right camp for their child.
