Congregational Campaign

Campaign Together - Fall Edition

Dear Koinonia Member Congregations & MNYS Congregations,

We did it! Thanks to the support of many individuals, congregations, and foundations, earlier this year Koinonia surpassed the original $1.5 million stretch goal and now we're planning to raise an additional $500,000 by February 2025 for additional facility and program needs. Over the summer we launched Koinonia NEXT: Welcoming the NEXT Generation to formalize this intent.

We're kicking off another Campaign Together event for fall! Many of you should have received a packet in the mail from Koinonia this week. Enclosed in your packet, you will find information about this final appeal and examples of materials your congregation will receive should you choose to participate. If you didn't receive a packet and would like to donate again or have your congregation participate in a different way, please reach out to Lora.

Thank you to those that have already run your campaign, are in the middle of it, or are prepared to get started! Thank you to those that have decided to allocate funds toward the Campaign in your budget for the next 1-3 years! Thank you to those that have brought your congregation to the camp for the first time or for the dozenth time! Thank you for adding Koinonia to your list of missions to support in 2024 and have invited Kathleen to come and speak!

All of these actions are building a strong ministry connection

between our congregations and Koinonia!

THANK YOU!

THERE ARE MANY WAYS TO SUPPORT KOINONIA

Pick just one of these tasks to do this fall/winter - it will make a difference!

  1. Book a congregational retreat in 2025.
  2. Put Koinonia on your budget.
  3. Run a 3-week mini campaign.
  4. Host a Koinonia Sunday or collect a special offering for Koinonia.

THREE WEEK MINI CAMPAIGN

YOU CAN DO IT!

Lora Baumhardt will provide guidance and materials - you find 2-3 speakers from your congregation to talk about the campaign, Koinonia collects the pledge slips and monies, then thanks and keeps track of all donations! It's easy and it works.

Email Lora today to get started. We'd love to hear from your by November 1st!
