Thank you for helping us far exceed our goal!
With your generosity CCF far exceeded our $20K goal. Because of you we were able to capture the additional $20K in matching funds from CCF's Board of Directors. A very special thanks to those that made the matching funds available during this campaign!
The 2020 Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation Virtual Conference is scheduled for July 22-24, 2020. We recognize these challenging times are requiring us to meet in a new way. However, we are confident this virtual conference will be unforgettable. As always, it is our desire to strengthen,
uplift, and inform every member of our cholangiocarcinoma community. We promise an information packed agenda; featuring interactive Q & A, networking opportunities, and fun.

Registration is required. If you previously registered for the conference, you will need to re-register to our new platform. Your registration will give you access to conference materials, a goodie bag packed with fun swag, and more. The first 500 registered patients and caregivers will receive a swag bag . Although we can’t be together in person, we greatly look forward to gathering and interacting with our CCF community.

Thanks to our sponsors, we are able to bring our conference to you...live and on demand.

Libby Wolfe
Libby serves as a CholangioConnect mentor.
Libby Wolfe is a people person. She enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and is blessed to have them both just minutes away. She loves book clubs, all sorts of exercise (i.e. golf, biking, and yoga to name a few), and socializing. Early childhood education is her love and she made a career in that as she co-owned a Montessori preschool in Wisconsin prior to her retirement.

Nearly five years ago her world was turned upside down with the cholangiocarcinoma (cc) diagnosis. She was originally diagnosed with a urinary tract infection, but further testing uncovered a liver mass. Libby sought a second and third opinion after her cc diagnosis and connected with two patients mentors in 2016. After surgery she’s also had successful immunotherapy, chemo for only a short time as she suffered some adverse reactions, and radiation with little side effects. A retirement, a divorce, healing from a previous heart surgery, and a new cancer diagnosis were all on Libby’s plate in 2015. It was overwhelming and so scary. She felt so alone, burdened with challenge after challenge, and buried in unknowns of what to do for next steps. Today she feels her challenges and growth are experiences she doesn’t want to waste. Although it is so tough to deal with this diagnosis, she shares that the connections she has made with CCF have been so incredibly powerful. She volunteers because she remembers the dark place she was in once and she wants to change that for others. She doesn’t want anyone to feel alone or burdened with overwhelm. She hopes to share a little light at the end of the tunnel.

Saturday, Aug. 15th, at Union Craft Brewing, in Baltimore, MD
This is the 1st annual " A Matter of Hope " celebration in honor of Matt Sgambato, a 35-year old warrior who beat Cholangiocarcinoma for almost an entire year until the disease took him from us on December 24, 2019. Matt was an amazing husband, father, son, uncle, brother, and friend. He still is. in one word, A FORCE. Matt's tribe is committed to continue his fight in partnership with the CCF by funding research and clinical trials with the hope of ultimately beating CCA.
In true Matt-fashion, we're hosting a summer party to remember. With live music from Time Police and Soundtown Baltimore , a cornhole tournament, silent auction, kids zone, and more for a fantastic cause.
