At Camp Three Rivers, safety isn't just a priority—it's part of the experience. We believe fun can only happen when kids feel safe, supported, and free to be themselves. Our staff works hard to create a welcoming environment where every camper can thrive—and every parent can rest easy.

Before Camp:

• All staff undergo background checks (CORI & SORI)
• All camp staff are CPR & First Aid certified
• Counselors attend comprehensive pre-camp training covering emergency protocols, behavior management, HR policies, and inclusion practices

During Camp:

• Staff-to-camper ratios are maintained at all times
• Camper pick-up requires ID verification
• Dedicated Health Care Supervisor on-site daily
• Regular hydration and sunscreen reminders
• Emergency drills are practiced throughout the summer
• Certified Inclusion Specialists on-site daily
• All campers must pass a swim test to use the deep end
• Certified Lifeguards are always present during swim time

Behind the Scenes:

• Camp Three Rivers is licensed through the Board of Health
• Our policies follow the Massachusetts Camp Code regulations
• We foster a judgment-free, inclusive space for all campers
• Campers may ask for a break at any time
• Swimming is encouraged, but never required
