I am trying to offer support in my lifelong best friend and her husband and six-year-old son in their time of need. This afternoon (1-11-23) their beautiful baby Jaxson passed. He was born 8 weeks premature and had many complications but despite that he was such a happy, handsome boy who brought so much joy into the world. Please consider donating any sort of food, money or even just prayers and support in their time of need. Thank you. ~From Gabriela Amick
Richard Bass is a volunteer at Vejlefjordskolen, as well as the basketball coach. He is hoping to take his basketball team (8 - 10 individuals) to the USA to play in the tournament at Union College, Nebraska, with other Adventist Academies, providing an excellent opportunity for the students to experience American culture, as well as a different Adventist culture, as the students will attend a Friday night vespers program at Union College and a Saturday morning church service. Almost every single one of the athletes/managers are not Adventist and may not even be Christian, which makes this experience that much more valuable, because they will get to see hundreds of young people worshiping in church. The fundraising goal is $5000 or just under 40,000 DKK. He has raised $250 per student and is looking for other opportunities to raise money for this experience.
