Faith & The Arts & Grow Groups Initiative

This Fall we are exploring the connection about our faith and the arts and how the artistic and creative channels can be some of the most powerful ways to express the story of God's love and to grow community for both nurturing and outreach. We have many options for everyone to learn to do something new and invite their friends to. Please look through the catalogue of presentations and labs, including the choir and orchestra concert on Oct. 7, and make a plan as to which ones you will be able to support by attending and bringing some friends. You can also volunteer to help in some of these events as we need help setting up, cleaning and greeting during the event. For more information please contact Pastor Leandro directly.

Click here for the complete catalog of classes & presentations.

GO Sabbath

This upcoming October 7, we will have our monthly outreach activity. But this time it will be different because we are putting on a choir and orchestra festival concert that people can be invited to. The concert, which takes place at 6:30pm in our sanctuary, will include a variety of pieces that will uplift and inspire both the performers and the guests. Our appeal to each one of you is that you participate in the Go Sabbath either by singing, playing, attending and/or inviting friends. This way there is something for everyone to do with this upcoming Go Sabbath.

LaVida Mission Supply Drive

Annual LaVida Mission Supply Drive is picking up at Campion Church on November 7 at 4:00pm. There is a long list of needed items - if you have any of them, that would be great. We would like to target cleaning products and paper products of all kinds listed. Please bring them to the church between November 4 and 7. See the full list here.

Disclaimer: LaVida Mission is not affiliated with the Rocky Mountain Conference nor the Seventh-day Adventist denomination.

Children's Choir

I have been speaking with Pastor Bizama and would like to start

a Children’s choir. One of the challenges was finding a time to

rehearse. However, I believe this challenge can be overcome.

A rehearsal time could be accomplished every other

Sabbath on the 2nd and 4th Sabbaths of the month. Rehearsals would be about 1.5 hours long. If these times do not work, we will find the right time. I believe the age group would range from 5 years old to 12 years old.

As we grow, we may separate into smaller groups for rehearsal purposes.

Your input will be greatly appreciated and if you would like to be part of this ministry, please let me know. Here is my contact information should you have any questions or thoughts.

Social Committee

Our church needs a social committee—people need to have time to socialize, get to know one another, and to have good Christian fun. But for that to happen we need a social committee chair. Are you that person who can make that happen? Social activities planned for all ages. If you have realized and felt this need in our church, would you please give your name to Sandy Eickmann.
