Chances are, you moved here in large part because of the excellent public schools, and recent data highlights just how well they compare to local private schools.

Campolindo offers a top-tier education without tuition, making it an incredible value.

The graph below shows the average SAT scores (blue bar) and tuition charged (green bar) at six private schools in Contra Costa County and compare them to Campolindo:

Campo's students have the second-highest average SAT scores of all of these schools and charges $0 in tuition; the two schools with the most similar level of student achievement each charge over $60,000 a year in tuition and solicit additional donations beyond that.

Furthermore, Campo only has about $19,600 to spend per student (an amount that includes current parcel tax proceeds) - a fraction of the tuition charged by private schools and even less than the average amount received by other public schools in California.


That's why it's all the more impressive that Campo students achieve such excellent results and why it's critical that we continue to provide support for our teachers and our schools in every way possible.
