NEW: SPECIAL ACADEMY LESSON ON, FRIDAY, 9/17 This Friday, September 17, Campolindo will run a special Academy lesson for all students. The focus of the lesson is on building a positive school community. This lesson builds on work the school has done with tools such as the Campo Pledge and the Bias Incident Reporting Team.
NEW: CAL GRANT OPT OUT Seniors! It's almost time for the registrar to submit GPAs to CSAC for the Cal Grant. This is a program where students who plan on attending college within California may qualify for some financial aid. Ms. Corsiglia will automatically upload GPAs for the entire senior class on Tuesday, September 28th. If you DO NOT WANT your GPA submitted to Cal Grant, please contact Ms. Corsiglia before 9/28/21.
NEW: AUHSD COVID-19 INFORMATION AND RESOURCES The district has a webpage set up to provide all the latest health and safety information for our community, including a dashboard that contains data on positive cases and numbers quarantined. LIMIT CONTACT TRACING TIME -- Option to Upload Student Vaccine Information Campolindo parents/guardians have the option of providing COVID-19 vaccination information to the school to assist in the contact tracing and quarantine exemption process should there be a positive COVID-19 case on campus. CALIFORNIA SCHOLARSHIP FEDERATION The California Scholarship Federation (CSF) application will be completed online this semester and the submission window will run from August 30-September 24. CSF is a statewide organization that honors outstanding high school students for their academic achievements based on each semester's grades. NEW: BOYS SOCCER Coach Stefan Clemens, Campo Alumni class of '04 has been named the new Head Boys Soccer Coach. To read more about Coach Clemens click HERE. NEW: SUICIDE PREVENTION ACTIVITIES THIS MONTH. Wellness is partnering with Leadership Equity Council to offer activities to bring awareness to Suicide Prevention Month. We will be tabling at lunch in the quad on various days!

Monday 9/13 we will be handing out bags with resource cards, Wellness referral information, suicide prevention pins, and other goodies. We will also have suicide prevention and awareness pamphlets and cards for students to take.

DNI PARENT EDUCATION COMMITTEE OFFERS A NEW SERIES
Please join us for an education series with Dr. Lori Watson of Race-Work. Dr. Watson is tailoring a four part series exclusively for Campo parents to intimately explore issues of race and identity, as well as learn the tools necessary to speak with our children, friends, and community members about this difficult and important topic. The series will run one Tuesday evening per month from September through December. Participants are encouraged to attend all 4 sessions. A donation of $50 to the DNI efforts is suggested but not mandatory. Topics include:
- Language / “Tools” / Parameters - How to talk about race,
- Beliefs / Consciousness - Conditioning and our own journey,
- Whiteness - Defining aspects of whiteness,
- Children & Race - Resources for talking to children about race.
