YEARBOOK INFORMATION

Yearbooks are on sale! Order yours HERE and use school code 6377 before prices go up on Oct. 31st. Yearbooks have sold out in the past so make sure to order now!


Yearbook is looking for any summer vacation photos to possibly include in the yearbook. It could be on your summer travels or just lounging in the backyard. Send them to campolindoyearbook@auhsdschools.org. JPEGs preferred. Please do not send pictures with .heic extensions. We are also looking for any other photos if you have them. 


Underclassmen Photo Retakes on Sept. 25th from 9:30-11:30 am in the CPAC lobby. If your student is not happy about the way their picture turned out, please contact Studio One Photography to schedule an appointment during that time.

STUDENT VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY

Volunteer at the Lafayette Junior’s Rummage Sale! Lafayette Juniors is a non-profit organization made up of local women dedicated to raising funds and offering service in support of other non-profits in need within the San Francisco Bay Area. Earn volunteer hours by helping setup for our annual Rummage Sale on Friday, Oct. 4th after school until 6 pm. Setup for the rummage sale will be held at the Lafayette Orinda Presbyterian Church, 49 Knox Dr., Lafayette, CA. More information can be found HERE.

CAMPUS CLEAN UP EVENT - Saturday, October 5th, 10 am - 2 pm

Interested in helping the environment, beautifying Campolindo's campus, and building community? Parents and students are invited to volunteer and join us. Students can earn up to four volunteer hours. There will be options to mulch, garden, and possibly more! Wear sneakers and gardening clothes. Bring gloves, a rake or hedge clippers if you have them (but not necessary). Meet at the entrance to the Campo garden near the Senior Parking Lot. 2024 CANDIDATES NIGHT

Meet the candidates who will be running in our local elections for the Governing Boards of the Moraga School District (MSD) and the Acalanes Union High School District at two separate events:

MSD Candidates: Thursday, Oct. 10th at 7 pm - Soda Center at Saint Mary's College  (also includes candidates for Moraga Town Council). Sponsored by Moraga Citizens Network. Questions can be submitted HERE.


AUHSD Candidates: Thursday, Oct. 17th at 7 pm - Walnut Creek Public Library. Sponsored by the League of Women Voters. Questions can be submitted HERE.


CAMPOLINDO KEY CLUB

Have extra unused school supplies? Donate them to a good cause! High school service clubs across the county are organizing a school supplies drive to support the education of children living in countries that are in the midst of war. You can participate by donating school supplies such as pencils, pens, erasers, rulers, notebooks, lunch boxes, water bottles, scissors, pencil sharpeners, pencil cases, school bags, calculators, etc. The collection period will end September 27th. You can drop off your supplies in the labeled box outside of the Campo attendance office.  


CALLING ALL PARENTS WITH A FLAIR FOR MIXOLOGY

It’s your time to shine at the Lamorinda Arts Council’s Art of Mixology Craft Cocktail + Mocktail Competition and Fundraising Event on Saturday, Oct. 19th, from 4:30 to 7 pm! Show off your bartending skills in our Novice Category and support local youth arts programming like Lamorinda Idol, the High School Visual Arts Competition, Arts Ambassadors, and more. This exciting afternoon features delicious drinks, local bites, music, dancing, friendly competition, and fun—all while supporting the arts in Lamorinda. CSF APPLICATIONS 

The California Scholarship Federation (CSF) application will be completed online this semester and the fall submission window will run from Sept. 3rd through Sept. 27th.  CSF is a statewide organization that honors outstanding high school students for their academic achievements based upon each semester's grades. Complete information about CSF, including the online application form that must be completed to qualify for membership, can be found HERE. Odyssey of the Mind is an international educational program that provides creative problem solving opportunities for students. Visit the Moraga Odyssey of the Mind website, the official Odyssey of the Mind website, or the regional website for more information. To learn more about the program, gather prospective teammates and parent coaches, attend an informational meeting at the Holy Trinity Cultural Center at 1700 School Street, Moraga, on Tuesday, Sept. 24th from 7 pm - 8 pm. If you are unable to attend the meeting, would like more information, or have any questions, feel free to contact at moragaootm@gmail.com.

ATHLETICS NEWS

NEW: GIRLS TENNIS

Girls Tennis is off to a strong start. This month, both JV and Varsity swept in the Annual Logan tournament, taking 1st place! League matches have begun, both teams beating Acalanes on Sept. 19th and have big rival matches Tuesday vs Miramonte. Varsity at home and JV at Mira, and Thursday vs Los Lomas. 4 p.m. start! Come support Girls Tennis!

Next home game is Sept. 25th vs San Ramon Valley at 4 & 5 p.m.

WELCOME TO BOYS SOCCER

While our season does not begin until November, Pick Up Sessions start in September. Please mark your calendar if your son is thinking about trying out for the team. Additionally, please add the Preseason Lunch meetings with Coaches to your calendars. If you have any questions about the program, please reach out to Stephanie Helder or Shaun Paul.

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL

Calling all 6th thru 8th graders! Up your game by signing up for Volleyball Clinics hosted by the Campolindo HS Girls Volleyball Program. Saturdays, Sept. 28th, Oct. 5th, and Oct. 12th at Campo HS Gyms from 12-2 pm. $75 per 2-hour clinic. Coached by Campo coaches and athletes. Sign up for as many days as you like. SIGN UP HERE! 


NATIONAL LETTER OF INTENT RECOGNITION CEREMONY

Campolindo will be holding its Fall NLI Recognition Ceremony, Nov. 13th at 12:50 (Lunchtime). If your student athlete is planning on signing an NLI and would like to participate in the ceremony, please email the student athlete's name, sport and college to AD Ray Meadows. We wlil be holding another ceremony in the Spring for athletes that will be signing later in the year. 


CAMPO SPORTS PHYSICALS/ATHLETIC CLEARANCES 

If your student will be playing a WINTER or SPRING Campo sport and has not yet completed the required Athletic Clearance (either with their family physician or at the last on-campus event in July), Campo Athletic Boosters is hosting another Sports Physicals/Athletic Clearance event at Campo on October 21st, starting at 6:15pm.

Upstanding Athlete Award: Campo Leadership is accepting nominations for student- athletes in the Campo community to be recognized for acts of leadership, service and courage. The Upstanding Athlete Award is a chance to recognize the amazing things that our athletes do outside of their athletic achievements. Beyond just winning games, Campolindo athletics also strives to create athletes who are upstanding members and leaders in our community. This award is a way for fellow athletes, coaches, and parents to nominate athletes to be recognized for the great things they are doing off of the field courand pool. If you know of an athlete that is deserving of such recognition please fill out the form below to nominate a student-athlete:

SEPTEMBER IS SUICIDE AWARENESS MONTH 

Suicide is one of the leading causes of preventable death in our nation today. Education is key to prevention! Being aware of the signs associated with suicide, suicide facts and statistics, and how to get support for at-risk youth can help save lives. Never be reluctant to get involved and always take your child's desire or intent to harm themselves seriously. If you are new to the Campolindo community or are a returning family, we want to provide you with important information about our Wellness Center!


What services are provided for students? 

  • Students can participate in a variety of services including mental health counseling, support and empowerment groups, referrals to community agencies and more. Wellness services provided to students are free and confidential. Students can also drop-in to the Wellness Center before/after school, lunch/brunch, and for short breaks if needed. 

How do I refer a student to the Wellness Center? 

  • You can refer a student to the Wellness Center by completing the online referral form or contacting the Wellness Center via email. You can also refer students by contacting the student's School Counselor.

The DEIB Grant Program is here to support you! 

The Campolindo DEIB Committee is giving $100+ dollar grants to student-led projects that promote diversity, inclusion, and belonging in our Campo community. This will be a collaborative process and provide real-life experiences for any future equity-minded entrepreneur. The grant application deadline has been extended to Sept. 28th. SENIOR CLASS NEWS

NEW: HOW TO REQUEST HIGH SCHOOL TRANSCRIPTS

For schools requiring a transcript as part of the application process, Campolindo transcripts must be formally requested in the Campolindo Web Store. Detailed instructions are on the Web Store/Transcripts and there is no charge to send. No transcripts will be sent until the Student Counselor Survey, Parent Brag Sheet(s), and Resume/portfolio is completed in MaiaLearning. UCs/CSUs/CA Community Colleges do not require an official transcript, counselor recommendation, or a teacher letter of recommendation. If your child is applying to CA public schools only, this process does not apply to you. For questions, please have your student stop by the College & Career Center.

Ticket sales end Wednesday, Sept. 25th! Buy your ticket now to "tailgate" with some fellow freshman parents! No football game that Friday night, no problem - come in your Campo gear to "tailgate" (or just wear red if you don’t have any Campo gear yet)! 

Please join us on Friday, Sept. 27th from 6-10 p.m. at a beautiful private residence in Moraga. Meet new friends, hang with old, and have fun getting to know other freshman parents. We will have a few extra pieces of Campo gear available for sale at the party. Tickets (including heavy appetizers and drinks) are available on the webstore

$65 per person. All proceeds go to future events for the class of 2028
