NEW: VOLUNTEER WITH CAMPO PARENTS CLUB FOR 2025-2026

We are looking for those who are interested in volunteering in a role with CPC for next year. It's a great way to get involved at Campo and meet other parents. We will have open positions for Chairs/Co-Chairs with varying time commitments - some are on-going throughout the year and others are more of one time events. We are currently assessing what roles are open for next year - please fill out this form if you are interested. Questions, contact Parliamentarian, Wendy Reicher.

Some examples of openings for 2025-2026 are:



  • Newsletter Chair: Coordinate the content to distribute each week to the Campo community. 
  • Recording Secretary: Exec. Board role recording the minutes of monthly CPC meetings.
  • Financial Review: Auditor role - happens at the end of each academic year.


NEW: SPECIAL MEETING OF THE AUHSD GOVERNING BOARD TONIGHT- OPEN TO ALL

This meeting will be conducted in person at the District Community Room at 1212 Pleasant Hill Rd, Lafayette, tonight, Monday, Jan. 27th at 7 p.m. It will also be live streamed through the AUHSD website. Items of interest to the public include:

  • Public Hearing - Regarding Proposed Education Parcel Tax on May 6, 2025, Mailed Ballot Election
  • Resolution of the Governing Board of the AUHSD, calling for a mailed ballot election, establishing specifications of the election order, and requesting consolidation with other elections occurring on May 6, 2025

The agenda and supporting documents will be available online before the meeting. Note: agenda and supporting documents are best viewed using Mozilla Firefox or Chrome.


NEW: THE CALIFORNIA SCHOLARSHIP FEDERATION APPLICATION

The California Scholarship Federation (CSF) application window for this semester has opened! The application will be completed online and the submission window will run from Jan. 21st through Feb. 14th. CSF is a statewide organization that honors outstanding high school students for their academic achievements based upon each semester's grades. Complete information about CSF, including the online application form that must be completed to qualify for membership, can be found HERE.


THANKS A LATTE! TEACHER & STAFF APPRECIATION EVENT

The CPC plans to recognize and celebrate our fantastic Campolindo educators & staff on the day after Open House - Friday, Jan. 31st


As a special thank you, we will offer every Campo staff member the opportunity to order their preferred beverage from the Starbucks Moraga store. Custom drink orders will then be delivered directly to campus classrooms & offices on Friday, along with a personalized thank you card. Drip coffee and pastries will also be provided as bonus treats.

JAZZ DINNER DANCE

Please join us for a wonderful evening supporting the incredible Campo music program at our annual Jazz Dinner Dance on Saturday, Feb. 22nd at 6:30 p.m. at St. Perpetua in Lafayette, CA. Our jazz band will be performing songs from the different eras of jazz with special vocal performances from members of the Campo choir program. Dinner, dessert and dance lessons are included in what is sure to be an amazing evening of fun. Special ticket rates for Campo students will be offered. We hope to see you all there!

PARENT ED EVENT: PREPARING FOR A TEEN DRIVER - FREE PARENT INFO NIGHT

We have partnered with Acalanes Parents Club to offer an event for parents of soon to be drivers. This event will be held at Acalanes HS Library on Thursday, Feb. 6th at 6:30 pm. Greenlight Simulation will offer a presentation that will lay out the steps to acquiring a license and provide some foundational tips on how to approach behind-the-wheel driver training with your teen. CAMPOLINDO OPEN HOUSE

Families of all incoming 9th graders, current rising sophomores, juniors and seniors are encouraged to join us on Jan. 30th for Open House. Come learn and celebrate what Campo has to offer as well as to meet new families and connect with old friends. Food trucks (Offie's Kitchen, PanCoast Pizza, and King Gyro) will be on site at 5 p.m., so bring the family!


CAMPO SERVICE AWARDS--KEEP TRACK OF YOUR VOLUNTEER HOURS 

Students who volunteer for 30 or more hours in the community may be eligible for a 2024-25 Volunteer Service Award. Completed hours and applications will be accepted no later than April 18th, 2025. NEW: COME JOIN BOYS VOLLEYBALL

Boys Volleyball season is coming up soon and we're looking for new team members! No volleyball experience is necessary. Tryouts will be held the week of Feb. 10th. Fill out this form to express interest and be added to the email list for the upcoming season.

NEW: WRESTLING FUNDRAISER

Save yourself the hassle of making lunch or dinner on Jan. 27th. Head over to Gott's in Walnut Creek to support Campo Wrestling. Gott's is donating 10% of sales all day to Campo Wrestling. This will run from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 27th.

  • Go to Camposwim.com: Click on the “2025 Swim Team Registration” button and follow prompts. Don’t forget to submit your size for the Campo Swim t-shirt!
  • Next click on the “Apparel” button to order your swimsuit and Campo Swim spirit wear. There is no cost for the team suit, once you enter your size from the webstore. The cost should be $0, and you can then add to your cart.
  • Finally, click on the “Contributions” button to make your Athletic Contribution through the Campo web store.

SPRING BOYS GOLF INFORMATIONAL MEETING

Boys Golf informational meeting will be held in classroom G5 on Thursday, Jan. 30th at the end of the school day. For more details see the Campo Golf website. 


BOYS LACROSSE

Many athletes that successfully played lacrosse at Campo started learning the sport in high school. In lacrosse, you run the field like soccer, the offense and defense sets up like basketball and you throw and catch like baseball. Interested? Fill out this form to get information on the team meeting happening on Jan. 27th at 7:30 p.m.


WINTER/SPRING SPORT ATHLETES 

Winter Sport athletes that wish to try out for a Spring sport need to contact the head coach of the Spring sport to communicate their interest in trying out. Regarding the overlap of Winter and Spring sports seasons; athletes need to finish their current season of sport and then they will be allowed to try out AFTER their current season finishes.

CAMPO BASEBALL

GIRLS BEACH VOLLEYBALL

Tryouts will begin Tuesday, Feb. 18th, and proceed as needed through Friday, Feb. 21st (weather permitting). For up-to-date information, please fill out the following interest form and be sure your clearance is updated on sportsnet: G. Beach Volleyball Interest Form


TRACK AND FIELD 

Track and Field is open to all levels of experience and ability. With 16 different events, including sprints, hurdles, jumps, throws, and distance, there is something for everyone. Athletes must complete all eligibility requirements listed on the team website ASAP: www.campotrack.com.


CAMPO ATHLETICS REGISTRATION

Athletes need to be cleared on Sportsnet in order to try out or to start practicing. To register for Campo Athletics click HERE. This only needs to be done once a school year, but it needs to be redone EVERY school year.

NEW: MAIALEARNING WORKSHOPS FOR PARENTS

Campo College & Career will be offering in-person MAIALearning Workshops for parents to learn how to use MAIALearning, our college planning and career readiness platform, to best support your student(s) in the college admissions and application process. We will cover researching schools, building lists, requesting letters of recommendation and more. The Workshop will offered at the following times: Wednesday, March 19th at 6 - 7 p.m. and Thursday, March 20th during 7th period (1:30-2:30pm). Sing up HERE.

Many of you have applied to colleges that require mid-year transcripts (with fall semester grades) to be submitted. On the transcript ordering page, please type in "Mid-Year Transcript" in the box at the bottom of the screen, followed by the names of the colleges you are requesting transcripts for. There is no charge for transcripts.

The Global Student Union Dinner will be held Saturday, Feb. 22nd, at the Campo Student Learning Center (Library). GSU students and families are invited to the Spring GSU Dinner. Join us for an evening of food, community, and any questions you may have. Dinner will be provided. But you are welcome to bring a dessert or an appetizer to share. (Please no cakes, yes, cupcakes). The Black College Expo will be on Saturday, Feb. 8th, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Oakland Marriott City Center. AAUW SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION FOR SENIORS

The American Association of University Women Scholarship Committee has announced the $2,000 Scholarship, awarded to one senior woman (those who identify as female) at Acalanes, Campolindo and Miramonte High Schools. Deadline is - Wednesday, Feb. 12th, 2025. Details about the scholarship, past recipients and application can be found on AAUW/OML’s web site.

  • ACT Practice Exam: Saturday, Feb. 8th, 2025 from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

SAT Bootcamp: In this two-day Bootcamp, students will master proven strategies and high-frequency question types to approach the test with purpose and clarity, gaining the tools to efficiently boost their score in just 8 hours. This is where you track all information regarding your application; decisions, additional information requests, and in some cases special scholarship opportunities. We ask that students avoid checking portals or discussing decisions during class time, and parents, kindly refrain from texting students with updates during school hours. This can add unnecessary stress to an already emotional time.

Please see the steps below to update your MAIALearning; delete schools you are no longer applying to, select the program within the college you applied to, and record admissions status (i.e., accepted, waitlisted, deferred, denied). This data is critical for the accuracy of the MAIALearning Analysis tabs by school (formerly Scattergrams in Naviance). 


  1. Login to MaialLearing. Click on the Universities (left-hand navigation). 
  2. Click on the Decisions (top navigation bar)
  3. For each school on you list, click on the three-dots, under Actions
  4. Complete Application Status for the University and Select College in University using the drop-down menus for each. You DO NOT need to complete the Set Flags section. 
  5. Please delete any schools you DID NOT apply to: Go to back to the Universities tab, Click on the school you did not apply to, click three-dots next to "request transcript” button, click delete.
