NEW: CAMPO SPIRIT WEAR HAS ARRIVED! Orders placed in August will be available for pickup at the Quad TODAY, Monday, October 2 during lunch. Please remind your student to come by! Also, it’s helpful for students to have an email copy of your receipt to ensure all items are accounted for. Thank you for supporting Campolindo High School!


NEW: AP EXAM REGISTRATION After your student has joined their AP Class Section through College Board, register through the CHS Webstore by November 10 to avoid late fees. More information here.


NEW: STUDENT VOLUNTEERS NEEDED The fall carnival fundraiser at Rheem Elementary is looking for youth volunteers to assist with the evening. This event is Friday, October 20, from 4:00-6:30pm. Students interested in earning community service hours can sign up here.

Tim Klein, co-author of How To Navigate Life: The New Science of Finding Your Way in School, Career, and Beyond, will lead an insightful and engaging discussion on how families can support teens in achieving a greater sense of genuine purpose and thereby, belonging. Listen to co-authors Tim Klein and Belle Liang discuss their book, How To Navigate Life here with host Diane White on the podcast 10 Lessons Learned. SUPPORT CAMPOLINDO PERFORMING ARTS CENTER: BENEFIT CONCERT TICKETS ON SALE NOW! A Celebration of the Arts: A Benefit Concert for the Campolindo Performing Arts Center will be held on October 14 and 15. This once in a lifetime concert will feature performances from our illustrious performing arts alumni now seen professionally on stage, in the pit, and on screen, including Maddie Browning (2015), Nate Correll (2017), Arriana Glenn (2019), and many more! CAMPUS AND GUN SAFETY EVENT The goal of this event is to educate Moraga citizens/parents about our current campus and gun safety practices and laws in order to help prevent gun violence, including suicide, and save lives. We recognize that this is a complex topic that is difficult to discuss, but our hope is that holding an event focused on prevention and education will show that we are being proactive and thoughtful about this issue. Event will be in the CPAC on October 16, 7:00-8:30pm.


ADVOCACY DAY OCTOBER 27 Get ready for Advocacy Day 2023! We've all faced many challenges in our schools and communities recently. Recognizing that, our focus this year will be on putting children and families first by encouraging connection, community, and civility. UPDATE: NATIONAL LETTER OF INTENT FALL RECOGNITION CEREMONY If your senior, student athlete will be signing a NLI--National Letter of Intent--and would like to be recognized in our FALL NLI Recognition Ceremony, please email AD Ray Meadows with your senior's name, school they will be attending, and sport to be added to the list of seniors to be recognized. We will be holding a Spring ceremony as well for those that are not yet signing or decided yet by this fall. This FALL ceremony will take place on November 8 at 12:50pm in the Campo Quad. 


FEMALE STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING SIGN UP The Campo Athletic Boosters is sponsoring a (free) Female Strength and Conditioning Program on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:30-5:30pm starting October 2 in Campo's Weight Room. Please use this Sign Up Sheet to sign up for as many sessions as you'd like.


CAMPOLINDO FOOTBALL TICKETS Football tickets for all HOME games must be purchased in advance on GoFan.co. Students with ASB and/or Campo Boosters Card holders will be admitted without a ticket. There will NOT be cash ticket sales at the game.

NEW: BEYOND THE BINARY WEBINAR Lafayette’s DEIB Committee invites all community members to a webinar Thursday, October 12, from 7-8pm, hosted by the Rainbow Community Center in ConcordThe Rainbow Center has served in our East Bay communities as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization since 1995. Its mission is to build community, equity and well-being among LGBTQI+ people and their allies through support services and education. During the webinar, participants will learn the foundational concepts of Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity and Expression, identify current outcomes of gender norms in our communities. NEW: LATINX/HISPANIC HERITAGE MONTH LatinX/Hispanic Heritage Month began September 15 and runs until October 15. Students have planned a host of various events & celebrations. One opportunity for our entire community is to attend the speaker event on October 17 at 7pm in our library. Dr. Alberto Ledesma, assistant dean for diversity, equity & inclusion at UC Berkeley will be with us to share his story, his experience as an undocumented immigrant, and more about the book he authored, Diary of a Reluctant Dreamer. Please save the date!

BECOME AN MEF AMBASSADOR MEF Ambassadors help spread the word about the impact MEF has on our schools. Ambassadors are critical to the success of our Giving Campaign! There are three ways that MEF Ambassadors help achieve this:

  1. Send MEF emails to parents during MEF’s two outreach periods (1 hour, 2 times per year).
  2. Represent MEF at school events (2 hours, 2 times per year).
  3. Display MEF signs at school events (15 minutes, 5 times per year).

SENIOR SNACK SHACK Friday, October 27 We are hosting the Snack Shack for the best home Football game this year - against Miramonte! Sign up here to contribute to the concessions and/or volunteer to spend time with fellow senior parents at the window or behind the grill that night!
