NATIONAL PTA'S EFFORT TO SUPPORT PUBLIC EDUCATION
Although Campo Parents Club is NOT a PTA, one of our functions is to engage in advocacy for our students. We look to our local PTA council for guidance on legislation and sometimes participate in their activities. The local Las Trampas Council of PTAs and National PTA support public education. They would like to share this information and for our members to take action to lend your voice to the National PTA's opposition to the Educational Choice for Children Act which is a measure in support of national school vouchers that is a threat to public education accessibility and funding. If you would like to support this effort, you can see HERE for more information, including a tool to compose a message to our local congressperson.
