NEW: LEARN HOW TO WALK FOR MEASURE T
Every vote counts in a special election, and we need your help reaching local voters. We’re in our first big canvassing push to identify supportive voters before ballots are mailed. Before ballots are mailed on April 7th, we’re door-knocking in our District to let voters know about this election. Walking is one of the most effective ways to reach voters! Here are the steps:
-
Learn how to walk: Click HERE to request a recording of our walk training and learn how to talk to your neighbors about Measure T!
-
Request your turf: Email dlagmay@teamcivx.com to request a neighborhood to walk. In your email, please provide:
- the school site you're representing
- the town you want to walk in
- your address
- if you're walking with a partner, please provide their name
Get walking: Grab some comfortable shoes and finish your turf before ballots are mailed on April 7th!

CPC BOOKCLUB
Please join us for our spring Campo Parents Bookclub. The topic is the social and emotional lives of teenagers and the books we will be discussing are: The Emotional Lives of Teenagers by Lisa Damour and also by the same author, Untangled, Guiding teenage girls through the seven transitions of adulthood. Join us as we attempt to understand and figure out how to best support teens through this critical developmental stage. Meeting will be held at the Campo Library on Wednesday, April 9th, from 7- 8:30 p.m.
NATIONAL PTA'S EFFORT TO SUPPORT PUBLIC EDUCATION
Although Campo Parents Club is NOT a PTA, one of our functions is to engage in advocacy for our students. We look to our local PTA council for guidance on legislation and sometimes participate in their activities. The local Las Trampas Council of PTAs and National PTA support public education. They would like to share this information and for our members to take action to lend your voice to the National PTA's opposition to the Educational Choice for Children Act which is a measure in support of national school vouchers that is a threat to public education accessibility and funding. If you would like to support this effort, you can see HERE for more information, including a tool to compose a message to our local congressperson.
