Volunteer Seed Harvest

It is that time of year again, we need your help as we work to restore our Township's natural areas! One way you can help is by joining us to collect native seed. By collecting native seed, we can use it later to enhance or create new natural areas. Anyone who is interested in learning more about the prairie, and helping us as we work to restore our natural areas is welcome. Please dress for the weather and for working out in the prairie (long pants recommended, no open toe shoes)

For updates on our harvests please visit our Facebook, or join our email list below. Harvests will take place on Thursdays from 12pm-2pm. Sites will be posted by the Monday prior.

Join us next Thursday (September 8th) at Corron Farm (7N761 Corron Rd). We will be meeting in the parking lot at 12pm then heading out to the prairie.
