Fall Break - No classes; students do not have to leave housing during fall break

Do not wash pillows, stuffed animals and other items with stuffing. You don't want a washer full of stuffing or to ruin your items. Nor do we want to clean up your mess.

Did someone else always do your laundry? Still trying to figure out how to wash and dry your clothes?

Here are two tips that will make your laundry experience easier.

Don't overfill the washer. Leave about 5 inches of space from the top. Now that doesn't mean pack your clothes in like sardines. Overloaded washers may cause belts to smoke or the machine to catch fire.

One washer load of clothes equals one dryer load. Don't put multiple loads in the dryer. There needs to be enough space for clothes to move around in order to dry. So if your clothes aren't getting dry in one cycle, you likely put too many in the machine.
