Dear Faculty and Staff Colleagues,
It was great to see so many of you at Convocation last Wednesday and to share in celebrating our students, each other, and the start of a new academic year. You can revisit the highlights of that ceremony and Orientation Week on the Oxford website here.
In appreciation of the staff’s hard work getting ready to welcome students to campus, I have authorized an early release on Friday, Sept. 1. Please check your email for details.
Next week, please join us for the Staff and Faculty Welcome Back Lunch on Thursday, September 7, from 12:00–2:00 p.m. at the Dean’s Residence. You can RSVP here. From what I hear, there is always an excellent spread, and it’s another opportunity to catch up with colleagues as the semester gets underway.
Enjoy your holiday weekend.
Warmly,
Badia
