A note from the Dean
Dear Faculty and Staff Colleagues,

Today we begin the spring semester and welcome all our students back to campus. I wish you each good luck with the start of classes, and I look forward to seeing all that we will accomplish together over the next few months.

Thanks to Megan Hulgan and the SILT team for putting together a great day of service in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. last Monday. In all, 62 volunteers packed almost 300 boxes for a variety of community needs, wrote Valentine’s Day cards for patients at a local nursing home, and removed invasive species along the Dried Indian Creek Trail.

Later this evening, I hope you’ll enjoy our annual MLK Celebration at 7:30 p.m. in Old Church. There will be great music, as well as remarks from students, faculty, and staff. It is an opportunity to come together as we start a new semester and reflect on the enduring spirit of King’s legacy.

I hope you are all staying warm!

Best,
Badia
