Dear Faculty and Staff Colleagues,
This week, students are participating in the Ultimate OxQuest scavenger hunt—an exciting new campus-wide game that highlights our #OxPrinciples and rewards those who follow the clues with Oxford swag. I handed out prizes in the library yesterday, and the best part was chatting with the many students who figured out where to find me! There are still two days left, so please encourage your students to participate by checking Oxford’s Instagram for clues.
Last week, the Oxford community stepped up to the plate once again for the annual Emory Day of Giving. We placed first across the university in categories of both most dollars raised and most donors—raising more than $120,000 from nearly 500 donations. This would not be possible without your continued support and care for the future of Oxford. I’d like to especially thank the Advancement and Alumni Engagement team for their long hours and commitment to spreading the word among alumni, students, parents, faculty, and staff. They make this a true community event.
Thanks, as well, to those faculty members who have already completed the 2023 COACHE survey. The deadline has been extended to April 12, and Oxford continues to excel. We’ve already surpassed our 2020 participation rate and currently have the third highest rate of response among all Emory schools—only two percentage points behind Candler. There’s still time to catch them, and even get all the way up to number one. If you did not receive your personalized survey link, you can request assistance at coachefaculty@abtassoc.com.
Best regards,
Ken
