Dear Faculty and Staff Colleagues,
Yesterday, we kicked off our annual Emory Day of Giving to raise funds for a variety of causes and programs that benefit the educational experience here at Oxford. This year’s Day of Giving will run for 36 hours—ending today at 6:00 p.m. We welcome gifts of all sizes, big and small; your support allows us to continue to build on our mission and develop resources in support of our unique liberal arts education.
So far Oxford College has won both Wonderful Wednesday alumni challenges and earned 4th place or higher in many other challenges. Help Oxford stay on top of the most donors leaderboard and dollars raised leaderboard through 6:00 p.m. today!
You can give to Oxford by visiting our Day of Giving page here. The Office of Advancement and Alumni Engagement is highlighting the following giving opportunities:
Oxford College Fund for Excellence provides support to the college’s most pressing needs as determined by the dean.
The Brook International Travel Endowment supports Oxford College students who are first-time international travelers with airfare for study abroad and travel courses.
The Tarbutton Leadership Fellows supports Oxford students as they develop as leaders in Oxford’s more than 80 clubs, organizations, varsity sports, and programs.
The Luke Gregory Memorial Compassion Endowment was established by the Gregory Family in memory of Luke Gregory 76Ox 78C. The endowment supports stipends to students, faculty, or staff who experience hardships.
Thank you for your support!
Best,
Doug

On Friday, April 1, come see the performance Charmed Ones, choreographed by Corian Ellisor, at 7:30 p.m. in Williams Hall.
Charmed Ones celebrates the beauty, truth, and good within our othered communities. Asking how one experiences joy in America, a southern queer Black dancer and drag queen—Corian Ellisor—unites an ensemble of queer artists being pushed aside by their othering identifiers including race and gender. The ensemble includes queer performers Alex Abarca, Leo Briggs, and Patrick Otsuki. Alongside composer Ptar, occultant and set designer Cody Waters, and poet Nicholas Goodly, the performers create a live journey of connection. They offer audiences a milieu of powerful art-making including movement, music, and magic, as well as provocative storytelling and design. By creating a brave and safe place for people to dream, Corian shares a glimpse of what it is to exist in love, thriving instead of just coping.
Encourage your students to attend this Oxford Studies event.
