To ACPHS Community,
To reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission and provide a safe environment for the ACPHS community, the College is requiring all students and employees to provide documentation that demonstrates they are fully vaccinated with an authorized COVID-19 vaccine prior to the beginning of the Fall 2021 semester. Exceptions will be made for a medical or religious accommodation upon approval by ACPHS.
ACPHS COVID-19 Vaccine Policy
Students and employees requesting a medical or religious accommodation must apply by July 12, 2021 to ensure all documentation is in place. The Office of Student Affairs and the Office of Human Resources will coordinate the medical and religious accommodation review process for students and employees, respectively.
Documentation that proves students and employees are fully vaccinated must be uploaded into the ShareMy.Health App by August 9, 2021. (This means that all students and employees must have received their final required dose by July 26, 2021 to be considered fully vaccinated). In accordance with New York State Law, employees will receive up to four hours of paid leave per COVID-19 vaccine injection, and all COVID-19 vaccines are available at no cost. Information on uploading proof of vaccination documentation into ShareMy.Health will be provided.
Updated Outdoor Mask Policy
Consistent with the latest CDC and New York State guidance, fully vaccinated people are not required to wear masks outdoors. At this time, everyone is still required to wear masks indoors. We continue to monitor updated guidance and will adjust the College's health and safety protocols as necessary.
