Greetings!
The end of the spring semester approaches, and we continue to make excellent progress on Phase Two of the 18-month plan that I shared with you in January. Here are some highlights:
- Strategic Plan/Budget: the Strategic Plan committee is putting the final touches on a set of long-term strategic goals.
- Academic Program Assessment: program assessments are now in the hands of a reviewer who will provide feedback that will be shared with each program.
- Athletic Program Assessment: the Director of Athletics is working in tandem with VPAA to plan and implement a thorough assessment of the athletics program. This included a forum on Athletics and Academics on April 18.
- Academic Advising: the search for two professional academic advisors is going well, and we look forward to announcing the new hires soon.
