Dear Christ Covenant Family,

North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper issued Executive Order 147 on Wednesday, June 24. This Executive Order is continuing  phase 2 for an additional three weeks and it will now expire on Friday, July 17. Most of our worship planning will remain the same,  but there are a few items we want to draw to your attention.

Please remember that if you are in a high-risk category or sick, then you should stay home and worship remotely with us on the live-stream. Gatherings on our campus apart from worship services will be limited to groups of 10 indoors and 25 outdoors.

We will not serve communion this coming Sunday, June 28, but anticipate doing so again in late July or early August.

It serves us all well to be reminded of the wisdom behind the 3 W's: wear a face covering, wait six feet apart, and wash your hands or use hand sanitizer.

As a strong witness to our community and each other, we are asking you to persevere with us by following the Governor’s latest guidance to include wearing face coverings when we are together for worship and in close proximity. The latest guidance exempts face coverings for children under age eleven. We will continue to maintain a supply of face coverings for anyone in worship without one. We all look forward to the time when we will not need to wear face coverings anymore, but in the near term they serve us in protecting our church family and loving our neighbors.

We will continue to use our pastoral communities for signing up for in-person worship and plan to continue that process at least through July 19. We still have spaces available for those who would like to join us in-person for worship on June 28. You can click here to sign-up to attend worship on
June 28.
Caring, protecting, and loving our church family and guests has always been of utmost importance to us, and it continues to be a top priority during these unprecedented times.

We hope you will join us for worship this Sunday either in-person or remotely on the live-stream.

In Christ,

Tom Groelsema, Executive Pastor
Sandy Spitz, Senior Director of Church Administration
