The City of Windsor is ready to welcome all of the first responder participants and their families to our amazing city! After four years of planning, it is hard to believe that Opening Ceremonies and the first day of competition will begin in just four weeks.
The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) is a proud supporter of the 2022 Can-Am Police-Fire Games and will be cheering on all of our agents who will be participating in the sport competitions. Being a border city, our Windsor agents work very closely with our American first responder counterparts. This event offers us a unique opportunity to engage in some friendly competitions and camaraderie!

|
The CBSA oversees approximately 1,200 service locations across Canada, and 39 in other countries. It employs over 14,000 public servants and offers 24-hour service at 117 of its land border crossings and at 13 international airports. The Windsor/Detroit border is one of the busiest crossings, as approximately 8.4 million travellers enter Canada at our ports of entry each year. The Ambassador Bridge has the highest volume of commercial vehicles entering Canada, with approximately 1.3 million yearly.
The Can-Am Police-Fire Games is a unique event offering an opportunity to promote physical fitness and camaraderie while providing exceptional high level challenges in specific sport competitions between all first responders from across Canada and United States.
If you are a first responder – have a first responder as a family member – or are a civilian staff member from any of the agencies, YOU can compete in many of the 42 events during the 2022 CAN-AM Police-Fire Games in Windsor between July 25th & 31st, 2022!
I hope that you will also take the opportunity to participate in some of our social activities that we have planned for you. The Guided Garden & Park Tours, Beer & Whisky Tours, Guns’n’Hoses Lounge, Tug Across the Detroit River, and of course Opening Ceremonies will all be amazing opportunities for you to see and experience our city!
