On September 17, 2019, Tucker Carlson profiled George Soros’ prosecutorial power grab.
Carlson reported that in the last several years, George Soros, left-wing billionaire, has spent $13.4 million on District Attorney races in 17 different states.
This estimate appears very low, considering he spent $1.4 million dollars supporting the Democrat candidate for DA in Jefferson County in 2016. That candidate is back and has endorsed the Bernie Sanders approach to Criminal Justice.
According to Tucker Carlson, Larry Krasner, the Soros prosecutor in Philadelphia and left-wing activist, issued a memo to his staff urging them not to enforce certain drug or prostitution laws and to defer gun cases.
Since this edict, crime in Philadelphia instantly spiked. Bill McSwain, U.S Attorney for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, believes that Krasner “views the system as corrupt and racist. And so, his revenge is that he is going to excuse lawlessness at all levels.”
The consequence has been a 12% increase in homicides in his first year in office, minimal sentences for confessed murderers, open air heroin markets, on top of piles of trash and syringes.
Soros DAs have caused similar public safety crisis in Chicago, where violence and death are at epidemic levels. Meanwhile, the Soros DA Kim Foxx, in a brazen act of “crony-prosecution”, dismissed the Jussie Smollett case causing a local judge to appoint a special prosecutor.
In Dallas, the Soros DA, John Creuzot, refuses to prosecute certain crimes, which has placed a target on the community. In response, the Texas Rangers now must intervene to address the increase in violent crime.
