What do you do when you have a 100+ acre ranch in the Hill Country with a guest house that's, well, a little underwhelming?

Build a phenomenal addition on the guest house, naturally!!

When our clients Denise & Travis came to us with a vision to expand the guest home, the existing space was pretty bare bones and kind of...well, blah.

These are clients who have serious TASTE (wait until you see some of their gorgeous selections below - hint: keep scrolling), and so we wanted to give them a guest house that aligned more with their style and personalities. So we got right to work designing a remodel that they'd be proud to have their guests come stay in!

If you're thinking about building any kind of addition on your home, please call, text or email us for a consultation.

In the meantime, we hope you find some inspiration from this family's stunning selections, from Black Pearl Leathered Granite for countertops, to a dramatic oversized ceiling fan, to a custom brick accent wall and thick, stained beams.

Beginning Stages of Framing...at this point the concrete pier foundation (designed and inspected by structural engineers) was complete...
Owner Rick Montelongo and framing subcontractor Jimmy pouring over plans and going over all the nitty gritty details...
Below, the structure is really beginning to take shape and you can see where all the beautiful windows will be placed...
And here they are!

In the photos below, you can see how we merged the existing guest residence with the addition for a seamless transition and open feel...
And here is the FINISHED PRODUCT!
Denise and Travis wanted to make the guest house a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom space rather than a 2 bed/1 bath home, so we did just that. Within the 700-square foot addition, we designated a separate, large master suite with bath featuring a beautiful vanity and glass-door shower.
We hope you enjoyed perusing this project!
