To those who have supported our Walk 'n Roll for ALS 2019



You are the reason we can help our pALS and families as they 
"LIVE" with ALS.

You have helped us raise over $200,000 
so far this year by Walking 'n Rolling! 
 
But, even though our physical Walks are finished, our Walk season is not yet over. 

We continue to count donations raised through the end of October, which gives you plenty of time to continue to FUNdraise. 

We realize that some of you have not raised any funds yet, so please know there is still time - and we NEED your support! 

You can solicit your family, friends, coworkers, and more - just make the effort to start now as we are counting on you to help us help our pALS and families.
 
WE NEED EVERYONE'S HELP TO REACH OUR GOAL! 

It only takes a minute to:
  • Send an email or a note to those people who have not yet donated to your team (include your Walk site link)
  • Post on Facebook - include your Walk 'n Roll link 
  • Create a Facebook fundraiser on behalf of ALS of Michigan HERE!

If each and every Walker 'n Roller who attended our Walk or signed  up but couldn't attend - raises another $10.00, we will not only REACH our GOAL - WE WILL  EXCEED our goal.

That means more and enhanced services for our MICHIGAN ALS COMMUNITY!  Just click here or the Walk Logo to go to our Walk website.

Our Walk 'n Rolls are a 'team effort" and we depend on EVERY Walker 'n Roller to do their part to collect donations.  

REMEMBER: ALS OF MICHIGAN KEEPS 100% OF ALL DONATIONS RIGHT HERE IN MICHIGAN HELPING OUR MICHIGAN pALS AND FAMILIES.
  • The Walks have enabled us to provide over $2 MILLION DOLLARS in respite care. 
  • The Walks have enabled us to ship hundreds of small items that make living with ALS easier directly to our pALS.  
  • The Walks have enabled us to offer a fully stocked loan closet. 
  • The Walks have meant hundred and hundreds of pALS can continue to communicate even though their voice has failed them.
  • The list goes on.  
Again, by raising just a few more donations you ensure that all of these critically needed services continue at their current levels!

DID YOU DO A FACEBOOK FUNDRAISER?
Also, if you did a Facebook fundraiser let us know the amount raised for your team and we will count it towards your total. Facebook does NOT provide us with specific donor information - their report lists all donations as "anonymous" so it is very important that you contact us with your total.

MATCHING GIFTS
Do any of your donors work for companies that do matching gifts?  Remind them to apply for those matches!  They can double, even triple their donation.

ADDING "DAY OF" WALK DONATIONS
Note that we do not add your "day-of" Walk donations to your online team total so they will not automatically show up. You will need to enter this amount since teams are password-protected, plus we simply do not have the time or resources to enter this information for 150-plus teams. Feel free to contact us if you need the $$ amount of your day-of donations.
