AN INTRIGUING CASE...

FOSTERING A SENIOR DOG

Sherlock Bones is a great dog with good social skills. But why does he need to be nudged to wake up in the morning? An interesting case indeed....

Click here to read all about him...

It is GSRNC's policy to always welcome back formerly adopted dogs. This often means that senior dogs come back into the program in need of a soft place to land while they wait for another home. This wouldn't be possible without devoted fosters.

SECURE YOUR DEVICE CHARGERS!

In our modern age of technology, it seems like everything has a rechargeable battery. This makes life portable and convenient, but can also come with an unexpected danger.

The Tulsa Fire Department posted this alarming video of a house fire started by a dog chewing on an unsecured battery. This is a good reminder to make sure your dogs are safe from potential hazards. Spoiler alert: All the animals escape through a dog-door and survive.

TV SHOW REVIEW!

It's nice to get recommendations, especially good shows and books about dogs! We asked one of our volunteers to write a review of a show she loves.

If you have any dog books or shows you love, let us know! Drop us an email at: newsletter@gsrnc.org

Hudson & Rex is a police procedural about a police detective and his German Shepherd partner who work in the Major Crimes unit. The show is currently in its sixth season.

SKUNKED DOGS!!

A skunked dog is no fun! The stench is pervasive and seems to linger forever. What to do? Tomato juice, store bought specialty products...? This tip comes to us courtesy of Greysave Rescue.

We love to hear about happy GSRNC adoptions!
If you love your dog and want to share his or her story, please send it along to: newsletter@gsrnc.org.
