Wondering what cans contain BPA?

BPA Can
If not, perhaps you should be because bisphenol A (BPA) is a synthetic, estrogen-mimicking endocrine disruptor linked to a number of serious health problems including infertility, breast and reproductive system cancer, obesity, diabetes, early puberty effects, behavioural changes in children, and resistance to chemotherapy treatments.

The Environmental Working Group (EWG) recently released its investigative report:  BPA in Canned Food: Behind the Brand Curtain.

EWG-BPA-in-canned-food-behind-the-brand-curtain
EWG analyzed 252 canned food brands, mostly between January and August 2014, to find out which of them packed their food into cans coated with BPA-laden epoxy.

They found 78 brands use cans with BPA-based epoxy linings for all their products.

And they found 31 brands use BPA-free cans for all their canned products.

You can check out the report here.
