We bid farewell to a good friend
GSRNC has lost a long-time supporter and volunteer. We recently got the sad news that Christy Reynolds passed away peacefully in her sleep. Christy had been with our group since its founding in 2001. If you've ever been to a GSRNC event or East Bay Adoption Day, you've probably met her. She made a point of speaking to everyone and you couldn't miss her radiant smile and infectious laugh.

We don't usually post obituaries in our newsletter but Christy wore many hats in rescue and made a lot of friends along the way. She will be missed.

About a year ago she wrote a story for our "Volunteer Tails" segment. It seemed fitting to re-post it today. You can read about her journey through rescue here.
TIPS AND TRICKS!
Karen Oliver of Bring Rover Over in Martinez shares some dog training tips that can help build the bond with your dog.

With Thanksgiving coming up, this is the perfect time to learn how to teach your dog proper table manners.

WAGS TO RICHES IS A WRAP!

Thank you to everyone who joined us at Wags to Riches 2022. We had a fabulous time at the Oakland Aviation Museum and raised lots of money for the dogs!

Wags would not be possible without the support of our fabulous Event Sponsors and Donors. Every donation means money for our German Shepherds. Please take a minute to click on the links to see the businesses and individuals who donated.

Save the date! Make plans to join us for Wags to Riches next year on 10/7/23.

Thank you!

THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING OUR GRAND RAFFLE!
