Dear friends of The CARE Center,
After a long, hot Alabama summer, we are more than ready to welcome cooler temperatures and a season of fall at The CARE Center! As we look ahead to the final few months of the year, there is so much happening within our community and so much to be thankful for.
October brings our favorite event of the year, the Gregg Berens Memorial “I Golf Because I CARE” Fundraising Tournament on October 16th. We are incredibly grateful for each and every golfer, sponsor, volunteer, and partner who make this event possible and help us continue serving families throughout southeast Madison County. There’s still time to join us on the course and we'd love for you to join us! Register your team HERE and come golf for a great cause.
This year’s tournament will also include a Silent Auction that is open to everyone, whether you’re golfing or not! We have some exciting items in store, and you can get a sneak peek on our website before the event. We’ll be adding new items frequently as donations come in, so be sure to check back often to see what’s been added.
There are several upcoming events, resources, and opportunities to get involved in the weeks ahead. Be sure to keep reading below for important dates, helpful community resources and ways you can connect with and support The CARE Center this season.
Before we know it, the holidays will be here! We’re excited for everything coming up, and we are consistently reminded of God’s faithfulness and the many ways He continues to work through our organization. We pray that this season brings renewed hope and opportunities to serve one another. Thank you for continuing to walk alongside us as we share the love and hope of Christ heading into this busy and joyful season!
