The Rotary Club of Spruce Grove is undertaking a virtual auction as a fund-raiser to support our projects and charitable work here in Spruce Grove. A major focus for this event is to support local businesses like yours in these difficult COVID times. I am asking for your involvement in this auction.
Last year, the Rotary Club of Spruce Grove donated almost $60,000 to local organizations. The need for this kind of community support keeps growing and a successful auction will raise the funds that will allow us to continue to support existing and emerging community needs. Our attention is squarely focused on supporting our community, including our local businesses like yours.
You can help by donating a significant item or a service you provide. That item will be placed on the auction website with a clear statement that it has been donated by your business. Because it is on-line, our virtual auction can handle an unlimited number of bidders. Everyone who looks at your donated item will also see your business name and will realize that you are an active and supportive member of our community. By donating an item to the auction, you can highlight the quality products and service you provide to Spruce Grove and area residents. In addition, we will provide in-store advertisement for the auction and your donation that will advise all of your customers that you are an active supporter of our Rotary Club and our Spruce Grove community.
Your donated item will remain on display in your store for all to see, along with a poster we will provide. The successful bidder will come to your store to collect the item, giving you an opportunity to win over a repeat customer. By including your business in our auction, we can make more people aware of your business and the quality items and service you provide, and encourage them to shop in your store.
