You can help fight hunger in our community by donating our most requested items and/or by organizing a canned food drive in your neighborhood. Please see our current wish list. Drop-offs are welcome weekday mornings from 9am-12pm. For more information, contact LaDrea Clark. Help CSA ensure that no one in the community goes hungry.

Most needed items are:

  • Pop-top cans of prepared soups or bone broth

  • Pop-top cans of protein such as tuna, chicken and salmon

Lower Your Taxes by Giving to CSA

We invite you to consider utilizing a Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) to lower your tax bill and support nonprofits like CSA. With a DAF, your contributions are tax-deductible, and the sponsoring organization manages and invests the funds for tax-free growth. When you're ready to donate, simply recommend a charity, and the sponsoring organization will disburse your gift as a grant. There are no limits to contributions or grants, and you can even set up recurring grants to your favorite nonprofits. The convenience has led to a rapid growth in DAF donations nationwide - see chart. For more information, check out our DAF page on our website, or reach out to Development Associate Brandon Sheirich at bsheirich@csacares.org or (650) 988-5073, ext. 149 with any questions.
