Participate in 8th Grade Career Fair

In an effort to give students an opportunity to learn about different types of industries and change industry misperceptions, the Blount Partnership is hosting an 8th grade career exploration fair on Oct. 19 at the Airport Hilton.

Approximately 1,600 8th grade students from Alcoa, Maryville and Blount County schools will be in attendance.

We call this a “Career Exploration Fair,” as we want it to be different than your typical “job fair.” We want students to get an up-close, hands-on look at different careers, so they can begin thinking about their future now.
