Quilts to Mexico

The second wave of quilts for Mexico has arrived and Reut's stack for this wave was nearly two feet high, dozens and dozens.

If you donated for this -- directly or through Project Linus -- you might just spot your quilt in the video linked here. If you missed this call for quilts, don't fret since Reut is already planning another trip in the Spring.

Ease into bag making

Bag making is making waves in the sewing community and for good reason! Bags are simple, quicker than a quilt or garment, and easy on the budget. This class will guide you through this fun, three-dimensional project.

Added just for the month of December, Tuesday Time-out is a sew-cial meetup held every Tuesday in the Hip Stitch classroom! Bring your own project or choose one to work on when you come in. You can use our classroom irons and ironing boards, or bring your own. Please let us know as early as possible if you'd like to borrow a machine, as machines are limited. There is no official instructor for this class, but Hip Stitch staff are always happy to help you solve your crafting problems whenever we are able!
