Join us on the shores of Lake Superior for a full day of music, food, culture, and family-friendly fun with activities for all ages.


  • Enjoy live performances on multiple stages
  • Grab a bite from a variety of local food vendors

  • Use our Bike Valet or check out the Pedal Forward program
  • Take a deck tour of the Expedition Tall Ship St. Lawrence II
  • Enjoy Marina Park with programming taking place from the Festival Area through to Spirit Garden.

Have a blast at the Inflatables with Fun-tastic Castles, Face Painting with The Brick & get creative at the Chalk Art Station!

Information Station to grab a Canadian Flag & Temporary Tattoo!

Spirit Garden & Celebration Circle

3pm - 6pm

Visit Spirit Garden and experience Around the World in Thunder Bay with Thunder Bay Multicultural Association! At Celebration Circle a Citizenship Ceremony will be taking place at 3:00 PM, and spectators are welcome!

Parking & Shuttle Information

Parking Information:

There will be limited to no parking available within Marina Park on July 1st.

Metred parking in the Waterfront downtown is free due to the holiday. 

Waterfront Parkade will be available for $5. 


Accessible Parking available:

Limited accessible parking spaces are available within Marina Park.

Please call 807-625-3836 before June 26 @ 4:00 pm. 


Shuttle Buses are Available:

Buses will leave the Auditorium parking lot every 15-20 minutes, starting at 2:30 PM, drop-off location at the Tourist Pagoda. 

Start your day in the heart of the action by entering the park via the Pedestrian Walkway Bridge.

Last shuttle leaves the Tourist Pagoda at 9:15 PM
