Update From Your Chamber
(October 23, 2020)

And, don't forget to nominate yourself or another member for the Board of Directors!

Your testimonial matters. Please take a moment to share some thoughts on your experience with our Chamber. Your input helps us grow and continue to offer relevant programming.

Our office is open by appointment only, but we are available to meet off-site or by email, Zoom, and phone at 416-877-7605. Please don't hesitate to reach out - we'd love to connect with you!

Canada United Small Business Fund Has Been Extended

In August, we saw Grimsby come out to support our local economy along with the rest of Canada - and people noticed! See what can happen when you support local?

The Federal Government has contributed $12 million to the Canada United Small Business Relief Fund which brings the total raised to more than $14 million!

The Ontario Chamber of Commerce is now able to extend relief grants to more small businesses and is again accepting grant applications from small businesses across all provinces. The new application window opens Monday, October 26.
The OCC Needs YOUR Input

The Grimsby & District Chamber of Commerce and the Ontario Chamber of Commerce are looking for your insight on what matters to business amidst the pandemic. The interactive results from the first round are LIVE. Click here to see the preliminary results. (The positive news is that more than half of businesses surveyed in the Hamilton-Niagara area see an opportunity for their organizations to thrive in their local communities.)

The second survey in the series will take a deeper dive on business confidence as well as other pressing issues. Tell us how confident you are in Ontario's economy and recovery, and what your organization's outlook is for 2021.

Share your views by taking a short three-minute survey here:

This survey is being conducted by Golfdale Consulting, an independent consulting firm.
All responses will be kept strictly anonymous and confidential.

DEADLINE: Tuesday, November 3 at midnight.

We, along with the Ontario Chamber of Commerce, are committed to ensuring government understands the issues impacting business in this province. That's why we need your help to express the voice of business loud and clear at Queen's Park.
