As the new month unfolds, a renewed sense of purpose energizes our mission at SFOI: to spread the word of God with unwavering dedication. We express our deepest gratitude for your unwavering support, and we fervently hope that you will continue to be our valued partner in this noble endeavor.
Following the success of our mission during The Grey Cup Championship in Hamilton, Canada, our commitment to serving the community continues unabated. Existing programs, like SFOI 1000 continue to gain traction. We are also thrilled to announce our outreach efforts through our presence at major sporting events in 2024, including the College Football Championship, Super Bowl, NBA All-Star, St. Pete Grand Prix, Final Four, NFL Draft, Miami Grand Prix, Kentucky Derby, and the Indy 500.
We believe that these events offer a unique opportunity to engage a vast and diverse audience, sharing messages of faith, hope, and love. These events offer an unparalleled platform for our partner evangelists. We are confident that, with your continued commitment, we can make a substantial impact on countless individuals, fostering their connection to God and enriching their spiritual journeys.

Remembering why we do Open-Air Preaching.
SFOI’s central method of communicating the Gospel is open-air preaching which brings the Kingdom of God to bear on the consciences of the hears of the Word both saved and unsaved. Open-air preaching sets in motion all of the spiritual responses and conversations from souls passing by and establishes God’s authority in the area in which you are evangelizing.
Since man is made in God’s image he is able to discern and respond to the Gospel. Open-air preaching initiates this response in mass and allows conversations and receipt of tracts to occur.

Our partner evangelist, Alex Burt holds weekly livestreams every Thursday for updates on upcoming events for our SFOI 1000 program.
The SFOI 1,000 is an ambitious movement aiming to preach the Gospel at every major sports venue in the world.
This includes not only stadiums with capacities of more than 40,000, but also professional sports venues across various disciplines, such as NBA arenas, cricket grounds, and others.
The program encompasses venues from the International Stadium List, NFL stadiums, college football fields, NBA arenas, NHL arenas, and MLB ballparks.

For four days, the SFOI team, including Stirling Long (right), a constant advocate for spreading the Gospel, immersed themselves in the vibrant Canadian landscape, determined to share the transformative power of faith with both sports fans and the local community.
Stirling, fueled by his unwavering dedication to the Gospel, found solace and spiritual rejuvenation in the daily recaps and prayer sessions, providing much-needed moments of reflection amidst the whirlwind of activities.
Stirling shared, " I so enjoyed the twice-per-day recaps of the day’s events and our much-needed prayer times. " He also expressed, “I loved the local Pastor - Rev. Paul Luth’s involvement. His gracious hospitality and that we also had for the Grey Cup, outstanding teachers, and pastors talk to us and explain their background, their training, and their love for the Bible.”

Christ in Canada.
As the echoes of cheering crowds and the triumphant roar of the victors faded into the crisp Canadian air, a different kind of victory was being celebrated in Hamilton, Niagara Falls, and Toronto.
Sports Fan Outreach International evangelists (pictured on top and right), had once again made its mark at a major sporting event, this time the Grey Cup Championship 2023.
