The 2026 Organics Recycling Conference marks a powerful confluence of advocates, innovators and leaders from across Canada—coming together in Calgary to see,
learn and be inspired to continue to shape Canada’s sustainability future.
To be held from September 22nd–24th, the conference will showcase and celebrate the full spectrum of programs, technologies and markets that are driving organics recycling, soil health and urban agriculture forward across Canada—bringing our community together to learn, connect and accelerate success from coast to coast to coast.
The conference format will feature tours, presentations, exhibits and dedicated networking time. Our tour day—held on Tuesday, September 22nd—will include a visit to Calgary’s new Anaerobic Digestion facility along with the city’s established composting operations. Urban agriculture will also take centre stage, highlighting the foundational work of Highfield Regenerative Farm in what will be its final year of operation.
