El Gobierno Nacional ha convocado a una asamblea con las comunidades indígenas del sur del país en Cali este viernes, 15 de marzo. Teniendo en cuenta esto, la Administración ha decidido cancelar las Actividades Extracurriculares de esa tarde por motivos de seguridad. Todos los estudiantes deben culminar su jornada escolar después de clases saliendo a las 2:30 pm. De igual manera, se autoriza la salida de todos los empleados a las 3:00 pm.

Los participantes de esta convocatoria estarán reunidos inicialmente en la Universidad del Valle y, posteriormente, realizarán una marcha desde esta institución hasta el sector conocido como “Puerto Rellena”, sitio donde permanecerán todo el viernes en reuniones con el Gobierno Nacional.

Se recomienda, de manera especial, evitar el sector donde se llevará a cabo la reunión con el Presidente, ya que todas las vías aledañas estarán cerradas por motivos de seguridad.

Given the call to assembly by the National Government to the indigenous communities from southern Colombia in Cali this Friday, March 15, the Administration has decided to cancel Extracurricular Activities that afternoon for safety reasons. All students must leave school at the end of classes at 2:30 p.m. All employees are authorized to leave at 3:00 p.m.

The participants of this assembly will initially meet at the Universidad del Valle and march from there to the sector known as "Puerto Rellena", where they will be the remainder of the day in meetings with the National Government.

It is highly recommended to avoid the area where the meeting with the President will take place. You may expect that all surrounding roads will be closed due to security measures.
