Fellow Krewe Members & Friends of Choctaw,
The Choctaw Board of Directors are extremely disappointed to inform you that our Annual River Parade on the Creole Queen Riverboat is canceled for this Saturday, February 4, 2023, due to maintenance issues that are beyond anyone's control.
The Riverboat routinely begins its annual maintenance work mid-January and unfortunately this year will not be ready to return to service until February 8, 2023, (please see the letter from Creole Queen below and also their unsuccessful attempt to find us another boat option).
We are truly sorry to bear this sad news to you but it is totally out of our control.
A full refund will be made to you by turning your River Parade tickets in to any board member in the below preferred order:
- Krewe meeting on Wednesday, February 8, 2023
- Parade Day in Lot H, as time allows
- Make arrangements with Danny at 504-908-1179
Choctaw appreciates your understanding and regrets this cancellation immensely as this is a great event providing lots of history and fun.
