NEW Volunteer Physician

Jed Katzel, MD - Graduated from Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine in 2002. He did his residency training at Saint Vincent’s Hospital in Manhattan and an additional year as Chief Resident to complete his Hematology and Oncology Fellowship. Dr. Katzel joined Kaiser Permanente in 2009 and transferred to Kaiser Permanente San Francisco in 2019. He is an Associate Program Director for the Hematology Oncology Fellowship, the regional oncology lead for head and neck cancer care and the Hematology and Oncology sub-specialty education coordinator for the internal medicine residency program for Kaiser Permanente San Francisco. Dr. Katzel is from grew up in Mendocino County and enjoys chamber music and snowboarding.
