The Fitness/Wellness Ministry invites everyone to join them to Walk cure to Cancer. This year’s walk will be held virtually and in person on Saturday, October 2nd. We want everyone to walk in safety and comfort. This means you can meet us at Mount Olive to walk your 5K or 10K path, or you can join us virtually on that same day and walk around your neighborhood, on a track, or even on a treadmill.
Whether you choose to walk in person or virtually we ask that you share your personal photos, videos, and comments of you reaching your 5K or 10K goal so you will have a chance to win some cool prizes. You may share pictures, videos, and comments on social media using the hashtag #MOBC2021CANCERWALK.
Get your friends, family, and co-workers to join in on the fun! Everyone is invited to participate and donations are welcome. In-person walkers will be limited to the first 25 registrants. This year’s cancer walk will highlight Prostate Cancer. All registration fees and donations will go to support The Prostate Health Education Network, Inc.- a black-owned non-profit, whose mission is to eliminate African American prostate cancer disparity.
