SECOND GBM MEETING ON NOVEMBER 13, 2021
The second meeting for Member mandated GBM was held at 2 PM on November 13, 2021.

Over 80 people attended the meeting presided over by the Chairman Vir Nanda.

Mr. Nanda requested the members to share their opinions about the two resolutions – Request for absentee ballots for 12/5/21 elections; protection of Membership Information.

Some members including Vice Chairman Ani Agnihotri and Dr. Yogesh Joshi argued that the resolutions were illegal. Other members including Priya Misra, Amit Arora, Dr. Rajendra Desai spoke for the resolutions.

Noticing the support for resolutions, Chairman adjourned the meeting saying Board should have approved these resolutions.

This argument completely violates IACA bylaws which allowed Member mandated GBM giving power to members. Board has no authority to interfere or obstruct the member mandated GBM or its resolutions. If the resolutions were illegal (not true), Chairman Should have adjourned the meeting at the beginning rather than after seeing the support for resolutions. It was a pre-meditated effort to violate the rights of members.

Chairman/Board was asked to state his/its reasons for the adjournment formally through this newsletter but he/board did not respond.

Request all the 138 members who supported the resolutions and others give your feedback to vananda@aol.com. Ballot box on 12/5 is the only option to send a Strong message the Board.

Please Come and Vote.
