Richard Russell has been appointed Senior Vice President of Government & Political Affairs at the National Mining Association. He is a key member of the executive leadership team with the responsibility for leading all government affairs efforts for the Association. Richard is an experienced Washington, D.C., executive who has worked in impactful positions both on and off Capitol Hill and within a Presidential administration. Most recently, he served as the Staff Director for the U.S. Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources and, prior to that, as Staff Director on the U.S. Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works.

Margaret Cekuta is the Senior Director of Policy at Business Roundtable (BRT). She supports BRT’s members on trade and international policy with a focus on U.S. - China trade policy. Margaret brings more than a decade of experience working on a broad variety of complex trade issues. Most recently, she served as Senior Director for Trade and Innovation Policy at the National Foreign Trade Council (NFTC).

Bill Chittenden

Bill Chittenden has been named President & CEO at the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking Foundation (SWGSB) at Southern Methodist University (SMU). He has the primary responsibility for the leadership, strategy, and operational management of the Foundation. Bill brings more than 30 years of professional experience, a strong academic background, and deep knowledge of banking and finance. Most recently, he served as the Chief Academic Officer for SWGSB and spent the last 24 years at Texas State University where he served as an Associate Professor of Finance and Associate Dean for Graduate Programs in the McCoy College of Business.

Megan O’Hare is the Chief of Staff (CoS) at National Audubon Society. She provides strategic and operational support to Audubon’s Chief Executive Officer. As a member of Audubon’s senior leadership team, the CoS oversees the Office of the CEO and the Board Relations team to ensure effective integration across the organization.
