Upper School News
Dear Upper School Families -

I am stealing away from the sounds of laughter and delight at our annual Carnival downstairs to quickly write this and get back to the festivities. Thank you to all of our Upper School students who helped make Carnival such a success. This is one of the highlights of the year as our oldest students dedicate so much time and energy towards creating a memorable experience for our youngest Griffins. There are some awesome pictures below!  Also, congratulations to all our fall athletes! It was a great season for the soccer, volleyball, and cross country teams. Thank you for representing us so well. Go Griffins!

Upper School Parent Social - Tomorrow!
Come and join us on Saturday, October 26th from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, The Griffin Home, 1734 W Balmoral Ave, Chicago, IL. I am sure fun will be had by all!

Mentorship Opportunity!
Our Middle School personal passion projects (P3) are off to a great start! This year, all middle schoolers are connecting with a real-world problem associated with their own passion and interests, then using the Design Thinking process to design solutions to their chosen problem. We are looking for mentors to help our Middle School students with these projects. We are in need of experts from ALL fields to serve as mentors, with a particular need in the following areas: animal welfare, environmental action, community service, entrepreneurship, and technology. If you know of anyone who would like to work with a middle schooler, please ask them to fill out this form:  https://goo.gl/forms/f1IOQylI39cIkNnG2

Adobe and Northwestern Creative Jam, November 15th
Roycemore will be the 1st High School in the world to host a Creative Jam!
Creative Jams are Adobe events where local design thought leaders share a behind-the-scenes peek into their processes and projects. Teams compete in a tournament-style event that puts their creative skills to the test using Adobe Creative Cloud products. Roycemore is proud to partner with Adobe and Northwestern University to embark on this quest to host the first Creative Jam for High School students. All Upper School Roycemore students are encouraged to participate and more information will be coming soon. What an amazing opportunity for our students!

Please see below for a few reminders:)

Yours Truly,
