An Invitation:

Friends at St. Mary’s, we are celebrating the retirement of The Rev. Canon Gwynn Lynch. I’d love to extend a special invitation to those who knew the Rev. Canon Gwynn during her time with your community. On March 26 from 5–8 p.m., we’ll gather at the Episcopal Church Center in Ocean Beach (2083 Sunset Cliffs Blvd.) to give thanks for Gwynn’s ministry–including her meaningful time with your congregation. The evening will include food, music, and dancing, with space simply to reconnect and celebrate this milestone. If you’re able, we’d love to welcome you as we mark this special transition together.

In Christ,

Bishop Susan Brown Snook

Prayer for our Church in a time of Discernment

Gracious and Loving God, You walk with your Church in every season of change. Be with us now as we seek the next shepherd for our parish.

Grant us patience and trust in your timing. Guide those who lead our search, strengthen the volunteers who serve so faithfully, and sustain this congregation with your Spirit of unity and hope.

Prepare the heart of the priest who will one day join us, that together we may continue the work you have given us to do-

to love our neighbors, proclaim your Gospel, and serve our community with joy.

All this we ask through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Amen.
