Kristen has been affiliated with the fitness industry since 2008, teaching a plethora of group fitness classes. In recent years she has immersed herself in the practice of yoga and become enamored in its ability to work every part of the body, from the inside out. She initially found herself on her mat in search of physical relief. Being a longtime fitness enthusiast left her body with chronic aches and injuries which completely threw off her body's alignment. Yoga quickly began to mend not only her physical body, but her spirit and soul. The lessons she was learning on her mat seamlessly began to translate into her day to day life. Kristen's interest in yoga turned into passion, and ultimately led her to embark on her 200-hour certification at Universal Power Yoga, in Norwood, MA. Kristen is excited to share this transformative practice with all those willing to try. She will guide you through a powerful, yet accessible, fun class that will help you tap into your own inner strength. She looks forward to seeing you on the mat!

Erin Porter
Wednesdays 7:30pm Canton
Erin's yoga classes represent her personal style of insightfulness,
zest for life and her desire to help others. Erin is introspective,
physical and always finds a way to laugh despite a challenging moment.
Prior to falling head over heels in love with yoga, Erin was a
personal trainer, bootcamp, Zumba and Body Pump instructor. Yoga, however, speaks to her  mind, body and soul as lifelong whole body approach to wellness. Erin's 200-Hour Teacher Training Certification is  with Universal Power Yoga in Norwood. She is also registered with RYT, distinction given to yoga teachers whose training and teaching experience meet Yoga Alliance standards.  Erin's spiritual path started in her early 20's while reading books by  Ekhart Tolle, Osho and Deepak Chopra. Her physical practice  intertwines with her spiritual mind creating a challenging yet
enlightening experience. Although she thrives on pushing limitations, Erin also encourages recognizing the body and mind's limitations. In her class you will feel empowered to push or pull back as much as you
need. A safe yet strengthening asana is her utmost priority. You will feel embraced with compassion as Erin promotes healing and strengthening of the physical and spiritual self.

The basis of my teaching philosophy is that yoga can benefit all body types; if you can breathe, you can benefit from yoga. The base of my classes is a focus on breath, while leading students through a series of asanas. The sequence and intensity of the class vary in accordance with students' experience, energy and prowess. My classes are accessible to beginners, while also challenging for intermediate students - with individual attention paid to each student. Being an avid athlete, marathoner, half-marathoner as well as tri-athlete, I a firm believer that yoga helps us tune in and understand our bodies, it gives us the space to listen, and this space follows us off of our mat and into the world.
I have been practicing yoga for approx. 10 + years: Power Vinyasa Flow and Traditional Hot Vinyasa. I have taught in corporate settings at Oakley Headquarters and Under Armour Headquarters.
I am 100 Hour Baron Baptiste Certified, 300 Hour Radiant Yoga Certified, and 200 Hour Core Power Yoga Certified.
